I got myself ANOTHER SwitchEasy Colors case.

Now I’ve got the brown and blue. I switch them around. The only downside I feel is when its in my pocket and I have to get it out. My pockets comes out along with it. It is quite irritating but I really like the feel of it. It also collects ‘dusts’ from my pocket but that’s okay. I rinse with water when it gets too dusty. No signs on wear and tear tho. Its still working as it should be.

AND the other day I bought myself a OEM Apple leather case.

Probably an impulsive purchase but hey its pretty good! I got it for less then $10 SGD through eBay.

It fits well too!

Does not leave any hairline scratches on my iPhone as well. Inside feels somewhat velvet.

I’m quite glad I got this instead of the Sena Ultraslim Pouch. I was seriously thinking of getting that until I read this. So why?

The author of the blog said: I’ve thrown it somewhere in my house. This case sucks big time. It permanent stained the back of my 2G iPhone (Some black dots) and gets super loose in like a months time. Skip this case. Its a piece of thrash. I believed him.

Maybe I wasn’t ready to spend like $30 USD on a slip case. I’m too cheap.

Here’s my current main screen in case your wondering what other nonsense I purchased.

My favorite purchase till date is Things. A task manager. It helps me get my stuffs done, I seem to be always forgetting my appointments etc. Clutter-free productivity seems to be their slogan.

Now.. let me go wash my dusty case.

This is what we originally wanted to do. Cos play. Well the whole team that is, with Nosiy Little Girl as Emma Ai, but she’s not fair enough to have that ghostly look.. besides we’re all bloody shy about Cos playing… so we’re just joking about it, making fun of it.

I believe Cube’s original idea was to have the rest of us be the ‘cart’ that Emma rides on, we’ll also row the ‘cart’/boat for her, we’ll also build the ‘cart’ to have a built in speaker and have it play those creepy music/scenes from the anime.

Oh well.. maybe some day, we’ll go Cos play as a team. Until that day, here’s a little image.

A new chapter in my life is beginning. I’ll attempt iPhone App Development. Hope all goes well too. Everyday I try to read up a little but I have devil-like friends who introduce me to anime. Now I’m hooked to Gakuen Alice and Sekirei.

So my routine is pretty much like this. After work I’ll head home, watch some TV and at the same time use the Internet. Read up on coding, documents, watch anime, read documents, watch anime, jumping around, juggling around them. Lately I’ve got a better understanding and started to modify sample codes. I feel a sense of accomplishment.

Man, I still prefer my Sony Ericsson P990i’s camera. My iPhone’s camera is quite bad.

One less issue to worry about, the whole registration process is like totally crazy. We have access now! Instead of praying to the Cocoa related books at night before sleeping. We can do some real work and test on our iPhones instead of the simulator.

No where a Canon photographer won't go

Disclaimer: Post is entry for Nuffnang’s “Win a Canon”. I did not jump/fly/climb over the barrier. It was just a pose.

The launch was at SingTel ComCenter 12 midnight. Initially I thought it was some joke for the launch to be at 12 midnight. Damn it was for real.

I got home at 2.30am. *Shrug* Why the hell did I go for the launch? There are options to buy at other ‘when the sun is shining’ time. Guess I’m just curious on what’s up SingTel’s sleeve.

Its 4am now as I’m typing this and downloading the software update. I’m still pretty awake, must be the free coffee and Redbull they were giving out just now.

Noisy little girl and my friend accompanied me, we reached 2 hours earlier. There was so much media people around, I believe our local newspapers, online articles, TV will be splashed with the launch later on.

I’m pretty impressed on how this launch event is organized. There’s a local live band, refreshments, tidbits, staff who actually walk around to talk to us, little fireworks above the glass ‘building’ they built to look like the Apple’s Fifth Avenue store just for this event I believe. *Thumbs up* SingTel! That’s something good isn’t it? Well, lets not talk about the price plans and handset pricing shall we? LOL!

A YouTube video, interesting! Take note, the glove unbox/handling was ONLY for the FIRST customer. The rest of us? *Roll eye*

I also got the screen protector which is anti glare. It really is good. The sensitivity is not affected at all and I really do get the anti glare. There’s a little card to help you push evenly. A sticky to ’suck’ out all the dust before application.

Application is almost idiot proof. You won’t be messing with bubbles stuck. First attempt and I got it straight on. Maybe I’m lucky. I GOT TEH MAD SKILLZ. The decision for choosing this particular brand over others. It has the “Made In Japan” printed. LOL! It has 2 pieces. So share it with your friend to cut cost. I’m happy! Hopefully this can help you pimp your iPhone 3G in a cheaper way. For those who really want to look different and got the cash. Check out Vaja Cases.

My first experience with Amazon Japan delivered to vPOST Singapore then to me. I paid quite an amount I guess. If anyone has any friends or ways to get stuffs cheaper. Please share!

Weight was 0.9kg total. Dimension 30.0X 24.5X 4.0 cm. I paid for shipping SGD $32.83. That’s for vPOST Singapore only. Item cost + shipping after conversion SGD $58.05. Total SGD $90.88. Sigh.

Oh well. At least my package arrived sealed and nicely packed. No more buying of toys or nonsense this month.

I think I have a fetish for Sony Ericsson mobiles. On the left, T105. The next one is a Panasonic GD92. Fear! I can change the screen colors, green, magneta, blue… LOL! The other 2. T68i. One of the first few color phones, in our region I guess. I still use them when I go back to camp where they don’t allow mobile phones with cameras.

Not in the picture is a broken P900 and my current mobile P990i.

My favorite is still the T68i. Cosmetically its quite bad, but they both still work, buttons are a little cranky tho, need to press towards the side. The joystick is a hell lot of fun, you can check how many ‘moves’ you made with it. What the hell is the command again to check your ‘moves’?

I know you guys have much more retro stuffs. Show ‘em!

It has been over a year since this blog started. A couple of changes, oh well, I’ll talk about the changes next day. For this post, I need to bitch.

I’m not in the retail or sales line but I do know a little about customer service! When people actually come to our little stall, I’ll say hi, look at them and smile. Should they be ladies I’ll probably promote the handbags we’re selling. I believe I was doing that 95% of the time. The other 5% I probably was day dreaming.

Seriously, the number of people who took me as transparent and never once looked at me were countless. I was really shocked. I said hi, they didn’t look up, he/she moved on to another section of the stall, fiddled with the other stuffs, I promoted it, told him/her how much it was, no reaction. Fiddled some more and left.

This is crazy. Bunch of weird people!

Then again, many people smiled or gestured back. Our main customers were young kids, they helped clear most of our stuffs. Really glad! Some of them repeatedly came back to check, maybe deciding whether to buy or not. Maybe asking parents for permission.

That was some crazy experience! I guess deep within me I still wish to open a real little stall of some sort.

I’ll dream for now.

My Macbook hdd died, or so i think, since it can’t even be detected, and i have yet to back up. My last backup was like maybe half year ago or so. I felt as though a little part of me have died along with it. (Haha! i know it sounds very exaggerated, but hell, i have tons of things yet to be backed up.)
I couldn’t sleep the entire night, trying to get it to work and thinking why didn’t i backup since im so damn free, no work or school. Blah.
Anyway if you are wondering, how could i even be online then, well… i have another computer..

Finally doze off at 6am after staring at it for a long time and it just shows me a white screen of death, i went to sleep. Woke up again at 10am, tried to switch it on, hoping that it was just a nightmare, hrmph. still white screen of death only.
But one thing i realise though, everyone seem to be asking the one and only same question.. “Do you have any edison-type of photos in it?” Tsk.
