My attempt at Konata Fanboy Tshirt 2. The image is from the album cover of Lucky Star Character Song featuring Konata Vol. 001.

Here’s the process of making it. Gordon only showed the good part of it. I actually had a couple of mistakes. Well if you looked close enough. I had a little ink leak from my black marker which stained the sleeve with 3 dots :(
The tracing completed. Keroro squinted his eyes.
and on to the tshirt itself and I took a break for a couple of days because I ran out of white paint.
My favorite mechanical pencil which I’ve been using all these years. Since secondary school! It has been over 10 years now… its the Pilot Shaker. Fear!
I started with blue first. So far so good!
A little closer look…
The shitty part came. After I was finish I realized Konata was too tanned. See the difference? The left was a re mix and re paint. Looked so much better to me.
The finished product! Notice the mistake on the hair, the top part. My hand trembled…
The worst part came. I was quite afraid to wash it because I was actually using a new brand of acrylic paint. It actually turned out just like the previous paint I used. This time cheaper! A big bottle of white costs only $10.70 from Artfriend. The brand is Daler Rowney. Well.. the acrylic one.

Pretty value for money I must say. For those who want to paint, its a must to get this! Highly recommended. You needs like tons of white and very little of the other colors actually.

Its so easy to get a printed tshirt anywhere these days and they would look flawless. Really got to thank you guys for the kind comments previously. I’m really glad people appreciate my work! ^^
I guess my reason for making Gordon his tshirt was because I remembered he was giving some cd away based on his ’secret’ number in one of an older post. I thought that’s very kind of him. I included the extra Konata I had from this box.
So for those requesting for tshits. I’m afraid I don’t have toys to give always. LOL! I accept beer in exchange for tshirts tho.

wat kind of paint did u use?
any acrylic paint will do actually.
I use Omni Acrylic from Popular bookshop for the basic colors.
I got a bigger bottle of white from another brand tho. Daler Rowney, also acrylic.
awesome work on this shirt too, i’d try but i’d most likely fail miserably. look forward to more!

Im wondering how long it takes the colors to fade due to washing etc.

Maybe I shld try doing a black & white T-shirt of my own with just a textile marker… I cant paint for nuts ^^;
